Right so we can't really be praising him as a good signing yet surely

I think he's shown enough. Good is a relative term in the sense that most of our squad are good enough to remain in the middle patch of the top league, but he really impressed me in his first few games and offers something the others don't, excellent mobility, solid passing and awareness, could learn to fill gaps better (but who says this isnt a small tweak to his game), especially slotting in so quickly to a new team.

Like any of our decent functional players, good, but with potential upside. Not Branthwaite or Pickford level yet.

He's certainly not been a bad signing.

We didn't spend anything on him, I can't remember but it was either the exact same value as Dobbin or we sold Dobbin for a few million more.

Honest to god, the FIGHT some of you will put up to simply not accept the jury's out on a player who was swapped to us for DOBBIN.

He can't get a game and when he plays the side crumbles because he doesn't know how to play cm.

I think the jury is out on whether he has the goods to become a starter and perform at the required level on a regular basis.

There's no jury out imo on his value for money as a signing though, purely because we didn't pay anything for him and swapped what I'd say is an inferior player for him (plus I think £3m profit but I could be wrong on that).

Me and my son were doing a dream team game in the car last night and picking purely from current Premier League players who play left side in a 4-2-3-1. I chose Son but when really comparing that position and looking at actually producing telling moments there's not many who actually stack up to Ndaiye this year so far.

I'm not saying he's a better player than Grielish, Doku etc but his actual goal involvements and importance to the team has been pretty incredible in such a short time.

Brilliant player and if he keeps going as he is we may actually struggle to keep hold of him in the near future.

Yeah, was thinking the same that we might be fending off bids from the likes of Newcastle and Arsenal etc next summer if his form continues
