The problem with mourinho is he's expensive. We'd be paying elite wages to someone who's probably not elite anymore. He'd be looking for a big budget for players.

He'd do okay because he's still a good manager and him coming would probably mean we have a decent budget too. He's not what I'd pick though

Comparatively he is elite, but I doubt he'd seriously want to come here when it's likely we still won't have the kind of resources he's become accustomed to.

Think hes on about 3.5/4m more than Dyche a year at Fener, so not insignificant, or is it in football terms vs what he would bring?

Yeah I don't think hed come without assurances about the budget. I have doubts about mourinho. Think the football world has doubts. That's why he's in Turkey. He's a very everton appointment. Think we need to be cleverer

I’d hate it, then I’d get on board, I’d love it for a bit, then completely hate it.

Rather stick with dyche than go down that route.
It's always been coming.

I don't think TFG would touch him after sacking him at Roma

The only thing he left out of his ad was "if a club had a new stadium and owner maybe. Other than that, I'm saying no more la, but it would be boss"

If we actually want to build something sustainable and with long term thinking then Mourinho is the absolute last person we should consider.

Mourinho would be an atrocious appointment, and would immediately decimate any trust I had in the Friedkins.

Fortunately I doubt there's anything in it. I think they are aware we need a slow and steady build, not a chaos merchant.

I know my stockholm syndrome with talk me into it, but I also know it absolutely wouldn’t be the right appointment.

Mourinho doesn’t have the patience for the sort of players he’d have to work with at this level and his ego won’t allow him to accept all of the losing he’d have to do here either.

Much better for him to be where he is right now - one of the biggest clubs in his league with enough money to afford top players for that level and occasionally getting to play spoiler against even bigger sides in Europe (even though Fenerbache is only in 4th right now, not a great look).

I’d rather watch clips of his sound bites from afar than have to watch his team play every week. We need someone who builds up players, not someone who organizes players who are already very good.

How many red cards would we rack up in a season with Mourinho at the helm? He alone would get at least 4-5.

He is yesterday’s man is Jose his antics on the line and in press conferences are laughable it’s a whole circus that we can do without

Would be a disaster, but I'd talk myself into it in lightning speed.

I want him on the pitch at anfield shushing the crowd.

I'd be disappointed initially but would inevitably get on board, be excited and go with the ride.
