Most those shouts have quieted down since he has picked up results. It only makes sense to sack him if we look like we are heading towards relegation. Otherwise he shouldn’t be sacked if we are safe (for financial reasons).
Doesnt mean people didn't make those shouts though, regardless of how reactionary they were.

We’re arguing over our own shadows here.

He’s kept us up in difficult circumstances and he is extremely likely to ensure BMD sees PL footy next season.

On the other hand the football is dirge and his in game management has most of us pulling our hair out.

His pressers are genuine and honest, but some of his catchphrases are extremely irritating.

He’s a mixed bag. Trying to argue one way or the other is just daft in my opinion. But it’s all about opinions.

Nor does it mean too much should be read into them. Sack him, drop him, love him, hate him and on and on. Instant appraisals are common to all football fans, doesn’t mean anything more than we are, in that moment, pissed off or elated.

I don't think they meant the end of the season but I could be wrong.
that would be me

Moyes is obviously the better manager, it's not for debate surely

At the moment he probably isn’t.

Has he been a better manager, of course.

In 2024, is David Moyes a better manager than Sean dyche? Not for me.

Not sure Dyche would be sitting with silverware and top 7 finishes at West Ham in the last few years like

You reckon he couldn't get 1ppg out of this side?

The football west ham were at their wits end over was still considerably more interesting than what we're watching you know. Some better players there for sure but the ideas were at least there.

Kudus, Paquetta, Rice, Bowen... How do you even compare anything Dyche has done when he's never had access to such quality?

I'd be fairly certain he'd have that team in a similar position to Moyes. As for silverware who knows, it's not like Moyes has a history of trophies so it'd suggest a half decent manager with honed ideas could probably at least be in with a chance.

I just know West Ham were set up terribly over the last two years for the most part and it looked like moyes was phoning it in and relying on their better players.

Would be very surprised if he performs in the premier league again.

If I’m a club near the bottom, I’m taking dyche over moyes.

Dunno me. I'm taking one of the prems best ever managers over dyche any day of the week.

Like comparing apples and oranges. Moyes spent half a billion on players in his time at West Ham. We’ve had Jack Harrison on loan. Twice.
