It would seem strange that they were sending emails to members offering them the chance to join the Tier 1 waiting list if there's still 1000s of people on the waiting list.
Good point, but supposing the 3,000 number is correct does anyone know how many years membership you had to have to qualify ? Think there is a misconception by some people that the sole purpose of membership is to get on the waiting list, it is more a case of membership is required to purchase a ticket as it is with every other Premier League club, original intention was back in the day to prevent away fans purchasing in home sections I.e. before membership was required I could purchase tickets at Arsenal,Spurs, Chelsea etc. in whatever section of the ground was available and sit on my hands, since the introduction of membership schemes you aren’t going to become a member to buy a ticket for one game.

5 years of official membership can buy on the 12th March.

Can only assume that not 100% of people will take up the season ticket option (deaths/moving away/whatever) - so it might go down to a first come first served for 4 year waits

That’s not so bad then, it’s not as though you had to be on the WL for ten years or so.

How much is a ticket for a premier league match these days?

I’m selling my ticket for the Villa game but have no idea what face value is.

Just put it on resale and you’ll get what you paid for it, two mouse clicks and it’s done.

£55 I think?

Is it really that? That sounds quite expensive.

That’s correct as per OS.

Aye, £55 or a massive £1 discount for a restricted seat at £54.

It's not too bad, I found an old ticket stub recently for a cup game in about 2004 and it was £45 in the Main Stand.

The £1 discount always feels more insulting than no discount

My favourite bit is restricted view is minus £1 and then severely restricted view, still just minus £1. What's that about?
In a world full of adversity, we must still dare to dream.

I thought there would be club statement about the handover being completed.
