The last few points were very good, but it hasn't as yet made up for previous mistakes in other games this season. I'm glad we're looking more like a team but we shot ourselves in the foot with games like Bournemouth (h) and Southampton (a) as a win in either of those makes things seem a lot more comfortable. Wins are obviously few and far between for the teams near the bottom so anytime you get one it's a big deal, just look at Wolves jump up so much last couple of games.

Forest are in a great run of form, so that is another tough one.

Barring a January transfer that's super positive which fixes our LB/RB and RW issues to name a few, it's likely going to be another grind of a season to pick up the necessary points. That's just where we are right now as a team.

Southampton’s new manager got them compact and hard to beat in one game and a few days training. We have scored one goal (and it was a worldy with a low XG) since October 19th. It’s the 29th December.

I think he’s got until the end of January to show he can offer something more than 0-0 because in all those games, the sides obviously have more possession but also a higher XG which will more than likely lead to an eventual decline.

I think he’s got until the end of January to show he can offer something more than 0-0 because in all those games, the sides obviously have more possession but also a higher XG which will more than likely lead to an eventual decline.

1 game is hardly a body of evidence.... they did also get beat without scoring

If we don’t find a way of scoring goals we won’t win games we’ll continue to be in trouble.

He needs to pull us away from trouble.

Next four games are huge for him. Sitting off and relying on set pieces won’t be enough.

Totally agree. I just think the post I quoted was deliberately misleading. 1 goal since mid October. Well yes but we've only played arsenal city and Chelsea. That goal had low XG. Maybe but I think the suggestion that we didn't even deserve 1 goal isn't true.

Ultimately we won our last winnable game and then drew with 3 much better teams. That's a very good run of form and results we all would of took before them 4 games. Implying that run hasn't been good enough is just silly


I don't see dyche being removed anytime soon. Don't think it's on the agenda at all. We could lose the next 2 and he'll still be here

I think we are just hoping to get through to the summer without having to make the decision. I'd be amazed for him to be sacked this season without some sustained awful form. To me it just doesn't appear to be under consideration at all currently

Yeah but tbf Harrison is boss and it's only Dyche that's making him look so poor, and we just need to give Beto a run in the team and he'd comfortably score 15 goals apparently.
