Not really looking at that table is depressing reading guys using excuses like the players are shite and the stuff going on at the club is all to blame whereas it’s really a lot simpler dyche is not a good coach who should have been out the door ages agoUnsyisaRhino wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2025 4:30 pm Sometimes you me think you're just a troll, or have no reading comprehension skills.

The same line can be used against the players. Same stat and some think we have a decent squad. The only difference is that's actually true that some think we do
Re: Dyche
Doesn’t help himself at all……his team selections don’t actually suit the formation to try to win games……
Eg: Why doesn’t he play ndiaye as 10 through the middle with DCL/Broja to play off…..keep doucoure alongside gueye and push mangala just in front of them…..everyone could see Mykolenko was struggling last 2 games….why not put young LB and Patterson/Coleman RB ?
There’s quite a few different permutations he could try but doesn’t…..
His subs are basically like for like so there’s never any alteration to the game plan when winning drawing or losing…..
McNeil been obviously out injured but when he comes back all he’ll do is drop Harrison and put him in there Duh !
He has a back up team who don’t seem to have….or just don’t influence him at all……
Oh well…….

Re: Dyche
You can’t be playing a diamond when your fullbacks are Mykolenko and Young, we’d have absolutely no width[emoji640]evablu wrote:Doesn’t help himself at all……his team selections don’t actually suit the formation to try to win games……

Re: Dyche
We are so lucky that the promoted teams from the last 2 years have been so poor or we would be gone dyche found a way to play at the end of last season and started this completely different no pressing no attacking plan at all pure shite777Kidnappings wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2025 5:05 pm The same line can be used against the players. Re: Dyche
Four central midfielders, one defensive, two box-to-box, and one attacking makes a diamond shape.
It can be effective with fullbacks who can supply width like wingers. We really only have Patterson in the side who can do that.
Re: Dyche
Sorry didn’t say 4 “ central midfielders”…..2 holding in front of the back four…….mangala playing in front of them 2…..ndiaye behind
DCL/Broja pushing beyond them by the lay offs…flick ones…
Still have 2 full back who can push on…..
Anyway it was just an idea of a more attacking change of formation from the same old same old…..

Re: Dyche
If he’s going to stick with his trusted defense-first fullbacks, I’d like to see what it looks like with Ndiaye moved centrally for Doucoure, McNeil wide left, and Lindstrom wide right.
It’s not that I think dumping lots of crosses into the box is a good strategy, more just an acceptance that Dyche isn’t changing so we may as well have our best crossers in those roles (bonus points for McNeil and Lindstrom both taking good set pieces).
If he’s willing to give Patterson minutes at RB, I’d stick with the current setup with McNeil on the right. Patterson provides natural width and allows McNeil to drift infield and try to line up throughballs or long shots, which is all he’s ever going to do given his extreme one-footedness.
I say all this but I know he’s going to put McNeil back behind the striker as soon as he can which is a bit dogshit since he really only plays in one direction.

Re: Dyche
Yeah that's how it works when you're shite. You just hope there's 3 other teams that are even worse. We are incredibly lucky. We've wasted 100s of millions, appointed the wrong people over and over and might just get out the other side. We absolutely don't deserve to because we've been a shambles.Kerryblueboy wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2025 5:25 pm We are so lucky that the promoted teams from the last 2 years have been so poor or we would be gone dyche found a way to play at the end of last season and started this completely different no pressing no attacking plan at all pure shite
