1) We definitely won't go down with him
2) As @Raptor mentioned the type of player we'd be able to attract would be far better than many other managers we could potentially get
3) Next season would probably be pretty decent
It does just kick the can down the road but it's not all bad imo.
Basically I can be talked in to getting onboard with pretty much anyone even if they're definitely the wrong person

Its relative though, look at the success he has had with lesser teams. Porto and Inter should never have won the Champions League, but he galvanised them and got them playing above there relative capabilities, and he is technically very astute. Im not sure Roma were the best in Europe when they won it either.
He would be able to attract a higher level of player too, and I bet we would be in a better league position when he left, which will give us a better opportunity to progress
I like the positivity but to me, Porto and Inter were a different era, he was the best manager in the world at Inter and most promising at Porto. Games moved on. Highlighted by the turgid time at Tottenham.

I have the opinion his time with us would be an even worse version of his time at Tottenham.
I wonder what Spurs would like now, Ange PPG at 1.36 or Jose at 1.64? Similarly, he did a shit job at United too by all accounts, but none of the managers since Fergie have got close to his PPG, not bad for someone so dated. And Roma seem to be doing better since his departure and subsequent European success.....

Mourinho would at least tell the world, if they didn't already know, how shit our players are, because nothing, ever, is actually his fault.
I couldn't think of a worse appointment at our club.

Yeah, he wasn't great at Spurs but they were terrible in the last 15 months under Pochettino which is when he took over. Might well have ended their trophy drought as well if they hadn't sacked him just before the final.
Not on the Mourinho bus myself but don't buy it being a disaster, just think he'd butt heads with the club and be gone after 18 months.
