Yeah, there's definitely been some kind of fall out there, the statement doesn't even give any of the standard "thanks and good luck" etc.

I reckon it has to be something bigger behind the scenes, I wouldn't be surprised if our pursuit of Potter has brought things to a head and it's all gone off.

It is but I'd like to think it shows the owners have a bit of a ruthless streak about them.

Not bothered about sentimentality or emotions etc, if you're doing a crap job you're done, no point in dragging it out.

At least that's how I'd hope they'd conduct business here.
