I know Burnley are as shite as it gets, but for this fella to chuck two misfits into the mixer and change the formation to completely control and kill off an away game in the PL is pretty impressive.

That I can go into Christmas without my butt cheeks firmly clenched means he deserves huge credit for the job he's done.

Yeah, contrast this with 12 months ago.
I was dreading the premier league restarting on boxing day after the world cup because of all the misery that we knew was coming our way.
The utter despair with the clowns not sacking the hapless Lampard after the bournemouth fiasco and just sleepwalking our way to the championship.
Now it's night and day.
A home quarter final cup tie to look forward to, and 2 games against top 6 teams that we know will be so hard but also know we are capable of winning both.
It's great just to hear people say nice things about us again after being a laughing stock for years.
All the credit that he's been getting is fully deserved

That's a PR disaster for the PL if Dyche refuses to accept it. Would love to see it.

He wouldn't ever refuse it. He's very keen to demonstrate that he's better than the perception of him in the media. Also, he's been very understated in the way he's talked about the deduction in quite a mature way, I would suggest.

Can you imagine if Klopp or Arteta had a 10 point deduction (whether rightly or wrongly)?

Wouldn’t worry, we could win every game and they’d avoid giving it to him just in case

And the perception of more than half the fan base too, to be fair.

True he wouldn't refuse it, whilst he's very committed and determined to do well, personal accolades are not beyond him accepting, and it'd cause more problems that it cured, even if we'd like to see it happen.

As long as he doesn't run into the corner and do a silly dance routine, he can accept it on his own terms then.
Be cool or be cast out.

Nothing wrong with accepting the award and then mking a point of dropping in that despite the extremely harsh and completely unprecedented punishment dished out by the Premier League, the playing squad have taken it on the chin and worked extremely hard.

Absolitely nothing slanderous about that and if the Premier League have nothing to hide, no problem at ll with that statement.

Needs to find a solution for Doucoure being out that isn't Garner in the 10 role.

A midfield 3 of Gana, Onana and Garner is doable but only if you play 4-3-3 and not 4-5-1.

Even if it means moving Garner right midfield to let Harrison play off the striker that's fine, although I think it's time for Daniel Juma to maybe get his chance in the team now.

We looked tired tonight, and the system lacked any creativity. Obviously the next 2 games are hard fixtures so he won't want to change the system or lineup, but we need to find a solution to Doucoure being out as Garner isn't it.

Yeah that's a decent shout.
I would probably leave gana out and give danjuma a go

Don't think much (if any) of tonight was on him but lost 5 of his last 6 matches to Marco Silva now.

Starting to become less of a fan of Silva after the last 8 months!
