Well it's 62k so 10k more than our capacity whether it's a sell out or not so not really comparable.
I don't think it's a wild opinion to think we'll fill the ground fairly easily especially at the start.

In a city of 8.8m compared to 0.5m with a club that's recently won a trophy so yeah maybe not comparable.
I've no idea on the populations of each city but there's also about 3 times the amount of PL clubs in London plus all the lower league clubs. But they were averaging about 34k at the old ground and now get 62k so for comparison that's a decent uplift in attendances and it's gone up since they first moved to the ground.
It's a good point on upliftGash wrote: ↑Fri Mar 07, 2025 11:16 pm I've no idea on the populations of each city but there's also about 3 times the amount of PL clubs in London plus all the lower league clubs. Not really. GS generates more cash for the club and with the increased demand will help financially. The ST percentile has dropped from Goodison to be in line with what's more common in the league.superpull wrote: ↑Sun Mar 09, 2025 5:22 pm https://thetoffees.online/everton-news/ ... emain/535/
Very few seats remaining. East stand completely sold out.
Bit mad if there's 13k reserved for general sale that there's so few seats left for season ticket holders to pick.
Sorry, don't get your point?
I'd say thats likely. Any seat that could potentially be allocated to away fans for cup fixtures is probably blocked off from ST sales. This would be whole blocks.superpull wrote: ↑Mon Mar 10, 2025 10:21 am Sorry, don't get your point?
I am saying that there are very few seats left for Season Ticket holders to select, which is crazy as you would think there is at least 13k (as this is the amount we will have for general sale after allt he STs have been selected)
Or are you saying they will have reserved entire blocks for GS and ST holders will be unable to select there?
Yeah add wool areas on like Ormskirk which is a big Everton hotspot for a start and Burscough, Skelmersdale etc and you are talking much moreTheRam wrote: ↑Fri Mar 07, 2025 11:22 pm 1.4m people live in Merseyside which is a much more reliable barometer than the population of liverpool which doesn’t take into account places like bootle, Crosby, Kirkby, and all the wools.
We’ll sell out no problem. Actually think we’ve undersold ourselves with the capacity.
Is true, the thing about travelling supporters is they also spend a fortune in Everton One buying merchandise, you see it every match those guys with their clear plastic bags full of kit.Zoolander wrote: ↑Mon Mar 10, 2025 6:16 pm Was told by someone to do with our Malta EFC supporters club, that Everton made more money from travelling supporters than local and season ticket holders for the first time in history last season. There’s more than 150 official foreign supporters clubs globally and some huge ones in the US for example.
We will sell out no problem whatsoever.
Yep.
