One thing I really like about Moyes is that he's adapting tactics to each game or player availability. Those balls through to Beto aren't an accident, Moyes has coached and implemented it... Feels almost luxurious having different ideas for different game.
he always adapted tactics depending on who we was playing and who we had available, it didnt always work but he didnt just send the same 11 with the same tactics every game

I've been made to look an absolute mug!!

He has distilled pride in us and the players.

3 nil up and we have players battering around the pitch closing down to try and get a 4th and the same to try to get a 5th in 92nd min.

You have players throwing themselves in front of a shot in the 89th min to keep the clean sheet.

It's sensational.

It's simple football with solid players. I'm absolutely made up.

Cheers Moysie I won't ever doubt you again!
You know exactly what you are getting with Moyes. Love him or hate him, he's a super hardworking taskmaster, who will demand respect from his players and will not accept any half-arsing. Like Dyche, he likes his players ultra-fit. Unlike Dyche, he's willing to adapt his style in order to get a result. He's a pragmatist and you may not always like some of the stuff that he does. However, you always get 100% from him and he demands the same from his players. He works at Everton because as fans, we ask exactly the same from our players as Moyes does, 100% effort and never give up. He's not a sexy, elite level manager with a massive lost of honours and medals, but he's a solid choice and knows how to manage people.

On another note, we've not yet seen his impressive collection of cardigans this time around. It can't be long before the latest "Man at M&S" number makes an appearance.

Knows the city.

Probably should’ve gotten him instead of Ancelotti. The toxicity would’ve been outrageous with Kenwright involved but we’d have swerved all the financial trouble from having one last crack at the big time with Carlo (and Benitez and Lampard).

Managed responsibly, as is his way, we probably would’ve been in a position today to be among the challengers for Europe.

He said he nearly came back three or four times, closest was when we got Ancelotti, it was all agreed then Napoli sacked him and Moshiri got all star struck.

I’m so glad to see the back of Moshiri.

Carlo’s good at what he does but what he does earns you little to nothing as a PL team with no spending power.

It's been a hell of a return so far for him. We probably deserved a point in that Villa game, battered Spurs in the first half, only changed when Keane came on(shock), did an absolute number on Brighton, they created barely anything, and now we've battered Leicester.

He's clearly a very good manager, I did have some doubts about him coming back but he's proving me completely wrong. Think my judgement was a little clouded by how he left before but thinking back, can't argue with how he left the team and although Martinez played some great football in that first season he absolutely destroyed those defensive foundations after that.

Overall I'm just happy to see some decent football being played again and being able to look forward to Match of the day again! Long may it continue with Moyes!
