Re: Dwight McNeil
With perhaps the exception of Idrissa, they all looked like they hadn’t been training since July
Re: Dwight McNeil
Looked unfit, no surprise... playing him for the full 90 was a terrible decision but not sure Ndaiye was ok to do so instead.

Dwight McNeil
Long term there’s not a place in the attack for a player as horrendously one footed as him who is also really slow at accelerating- I genuinely can’t think of a decent attacking player with those attributes.
I do think he could succeed long term as an attacking left back, doesn’t matter there that he has no right foot and he’s got the engine to get up and down even if he struggles on acceleration.
Maybe Baines could take him under his wing, they’ve got similar attributes.

Simply not good enough to be where we, as fans, want the club to be. He’ll never play for a bigger club than Everton.
Re: Dwight McNeil
What I'd give for Alex Iwobi back compared to the likes of Dwight, jack and Lindstrom honestly.
Would swap all three in a heartbeat.

Re: Dwight McNeil
If you analyse his performance at the weekend, the numbers would be horrendous.
He had some fantastic positions throughout the match, and the contributions each time were poor. Very very one footed, to the point that the defender just has to show him onto his right foot and completely block off anything going left, which equals no threat.
I would put him on the left wing and keep him there. He can’t play in the middle because of his one footed nature. It’s just too easy to defend against him when there is no right foot.

Re: Dwight McNeil
He's going to slip a disc in his back one of these days the way he contorts his body just to use is left foot rather than his right.

Re: Dwight McNeil
He’s painful to watch with his one footedness, I’ve been in and out with him since we got him, but he’s just not good enough, play him out wide on the left or nowhere at all.
