No reason to be starting Keane without injuries when he's in the last few months of his contract. Just shift O Brien if dropping Tarkowski, he won't be dropped though this season and thats probably fair enough he's generally solid, just don't think he's great for us going forward

I think it depends on how he performs over the next game or two tbh. If Bournemouth exposed a huge weakness where basically if you mark the other CBs and everything goes through Tarks which makes his head dissolve then we'll need to drop him.

I wouldn't personally trust O'Brien and Branthwaite as a pairing and also wouldn't really want to change the shape. That leaves Keane who's very comfortable on the ball and although also prone to the odd mind melt he'd be ok when protected by two other CBs by and large.

If we want to pass out from the back then Keane can do this well, but I'd rather Tarks just not lose his place and show he's capable.

I'd rather play 10 men than play Keane unfortunately.

Tarks had a bad game, it happens. Calling for dropping him is a mad shout.

Wouldn’t drop him at the moment but would like to see another centre half in for him next season.

I don’t rate this fella one bit but there’s no way we’d improve with him out the side. Has to moved on in the summer though. Back to Burnley you go sir.

Moving him on in the summer would be crazy, we have enough to do this summer as it is without adding to it. Improve on him in the summer yes, but keep him at the club as a back up, he has until 2026 on his contract and is 32, cost us nothing let him see out the contract as we wont be making on him.

We had 3 U21s (not the ready for Premier League football standard either) and 2 goalkeepers on the bench v Bournemouth, that's a bigger issue to sort out.

Unfortunately they're now a team that play out 0-0s because they're boring bastards who keep 80% of the ball between their defenders. They'd not be interested. We'll have to wait for Ginger bollocks to get a new job.

Who said anything about Burnley FC? Just put him on an uber and set the drop off point as Burnley.

I like Tarks.. but fuck me he had a shocker.

He can defend all day long and if there are balls in the box and you need someone to lead, talk, organise tackle and clear, he is your man, he's been great for us under Dyche.

But fuck me he had a shocker.

If we're going to be more progressive and play a.litrle bit more football he needs to prove he can adapt. Definitely earned the right to prove it was a one off though. We'll see what happens.

He’s had bad games before but nothing as bad as that, so in that sense it probably is a one off. He’s a bit of a relic as a central defender these days but he’s generally a lot better than he showed on Saturday. The rest of the season will show us if it was a really bad day at the office or he’s not up to Moyes’ style of play. He was a lot better against Leicester and got an assist, so it’s hard to tell at the moment

Scores a 97th minute equaliser to save us from leaving Goodison with Liverpool having won more derbys than us... What a fucking legend and what a finish it was too!!!
