Yeah no-one can defend that. Thing is even though options are limited he’s made no attempt to change anything at all, and what he’s sticking with just isn’t working on any level
Dyche - HE'S GONE
Re: Dyche
If we did sack him we couldn't afford to pay for an in work manager and honestly I can't imagine anyone wanting to touch us with a ten foot barge pole anyway.
Home against Forest next, and as much as I dismissed the Baines shouts before I do think it'd get the crowd fired up like when Ferguson took over the first time.
So I've come round to Baines in until the end of the season and then I'd probably go for Carrick no matter what happens next season. He's done a great job at Boro as they lost a load of players in the summer, and plays good footy by all accounts.

Re: Dyche
Carrick, Rosenior and Corberan would all be preferable if we were looking at championship managers.AjaxAndy wrote: ↑Mon Apr 15, 2024 9:01 pm If we did sack him we couldn't afford to pay for an in work manager and honestly I can't imagine anyone wanting to touch us with a ten foot barge pole anyway.

Re: Dyche
Dyche knows the club's circumstances are preventing him being sacked

Re: Dyche
You can sort of defend Dyche when he keeps it tight at the back, nicks the odd 1-0 and loses to the better sides.
But that tonight, and the last few months of form is just unacceptable.
I can accept getting beaten 3-0 here and there. But if you are getting beaten 6-0, and I could see that the players had downed tools at 2-0, then he has to go.
As I said, I don’t even know if that is now an option given our predicament, but the players have clearly stopped playing for him.
