If the Alexander Isak and Marc Guehi deals go through, with the fees being mooted, their spend in this window will rocket up to £455m, which would smash the record for a single club spend in a single window.
The record was previously held by Chelsea in the summer of 2023 (£400m).
They don't spend money though do they?

Re: General Transfer Thread
His stock really won't get much higher, maybe barring lifting the Conference league trophy. His time at Palace has been very impressive and he's probably bumped into the ceiling of what can be done there so I think it's likely only a matter of time once a bigger job opens up.
His contract is done at the end of the season though, so he could just wait it out unless he really feels let down by the club.

Look like Glasner threatened to quit if they sold Guehi without getting a replacement in.
Not happening it would seem.

All on the shite that, loads of clubs struggling with psr and can't afford to buy until they sell , then find a replacement held to ransom basically. Left it too late had weeks to put a bid in.
Re: General Transfer Thread
Im choosing to believe that Palace just strung Liverpool along right until the deadline.
