I was looking at that a couple of days ago to see if he was still there, another player who got a move that was probably above his talent and it ended up becoming a bit of a career graveyard. I'm surprised one of the promoted teams didn't take a chance on him, especially Leeds.Lazarou II wrote: ↑Tue Sep 02, 2025 7:28 am Kalvin Phillips still at City, one of the great career nosedives.

There’s still Turkey for those players. The window in Turkey remains open.

Seeing him at West Ham and Ipswich probably put them off in fairness. Awful at both.Gash wrote: ↑Tue Sep 02, 2025 8:05 am I was looking at that a couple of days ago to see if he was still there, another player who got a move that was probably above his talent and it ended up becoming a bit of a career graveyard. In a world full of adversity, we must still dare to dream.

Re: General Transfer Thread
would have been ideal for us
esp with mykolenko in our squad already
or
maybe he wanted european football
well which means we can get the lad next season then

Re: General Transfer Thread
Apparently Neil maupay has been left out of marsilles champions league squad and been told he's no place at the club.
Wasn't he claiming he'd be in the champions league while we were in the championship

It won't happen but it would be great if Everton tweeted 'whenever I'm having a bad day I just check Neal Maupay's career and smile'

Basically the equivalent of modern day money laundering. Sign a player , loan them to your other club you own then sell em for a blag fee . 3 Chelsea and 2 Brazil appearances. Yet goes for £60m.

Re: General Transfer Thread
Your point still stands, but in fairness to him he has seemingly rejected the move? Saying he thought his chances of playing in the World Cup were higher if he stayed in the PL.weimaranerblues wrote: ↑Sun Sep 07, 2025 9:34 am Basically the equivalent of modern day money laundering.
