Southgate has been shown up this tournament.

Plays Bellingham as a 10 and pushes Foden out wide. The big reason Bellingham plays well in that role for Real Madrid is because there are two speedsters in front of him stretching the game and opening up the space. Southgate has Foden and Kane coming deeper for the ball and expecting Bellingham to be able to do what he does at Real Madrid.

Foden whoops the ball over everyone's heads, then Kane picks it up and whoops it over everyone's heads.

England highlight of the game so far.

This refs an absolute arsehole. Not excusing how bad England have been, but he is.

And Kane is annoying the fuck out of me again.

Can see why Bellingham was moaning.

He’s the only one interested in playing quick.

Always in space but John stones has to put his foot on the ball every time he gets it for some reason and tripper is always playing it backwards, as is rice.

There's very few patterns, linkups or quick interchanges.

Everybody takes a touch, look ups and then decides what they might do. And that's very easy to defend.

The fans so vocally booing isn't helping the players. I get it at half time or full time, but while they are playing is just counter productive.

Yeah very Everton and very Man U.

Going to have to rely on moments, set pieces and individual quality because you can't magically create chemistry at this stage of a tournament.

Bellingham and Kane can’t work together, and right now I’d give up on Kane quicker as at least Bellingham is involved.

Can’t believe I’m saying this but Kane needs hooking for Watkins, need somebody to threaten in behind so their line drops back

Agreed.

Won’t happen, but we need something up top.
