Personally, I'd like to give him another season. Yes, he's a bit raw, but isn't that too be expected when you get someone that young from another country.
His overall hold up play needs to be worked on, but his goal return isn't that bad for his debut season in England. We won't trade him in for someone thats going to offer significantly more imo, so might as well stick with him, especially if the other option is Delap.

I'm going to say it. I'd rather Delap. I think Barry is that bad.

Can’t help but get a bit misty eyed at his goal return despite folks telling me he’s the worst striker on the planet

Hope it doesn't all kick off when his Bayern supporting mates get chinned in the away end at the Allianz.

He’s not young, he’s almost 24. He’s just shite.

And in 4 years he'll nearly be 28, but when we signed him he was 22, which I class as young still. The goal return that he got isn't bad and you'd expect that to improve.
I'm not that bothered if he goes off the deal is right, I just think there was enough there to give it another year, and the likelihood of a significant improvement on him isn't that great, especially if we'll bomb the replacement out after a year too.

We all see different things, but personally I thought he’s looked way out of his depth from day one, and he’s done nothing to change my mind, add to that he acts like a spoilt brat.
Not suited to English football, at any level.

He hasn’t been all bad some decent finishes especially the villa away one I would rather keep him than Beto both are not good enough but delap definitely isn’t the answer

His ability is there, but his general approach is too carefree in terms of commitment to doing his best and leaving it all on the pitch. Beto has limitations for sure, but he never gives less than 100%, which is why I'd keep him over Barry. Take the money, no fucking about

I think hes proven himself to be a really good finisher but 90% of the time the rest of his game has looked way short of what's required. For me hes nowhere near as good as beto

Similar opinion on the potential sale as that of Ndiaye - its in theory a good price but the main issue is that I have no faith in us spending any money well (cough Delap cough)

Don’t get me wrong get our money back and I would sell wouldn’t surprise me if he got 20 goals there though playing in the right system we can’t keep bringing in strikers just to lump the ball at them though we need a quick finisher imo not another lump
