Mate, only one person has questioned his ability.Raptor wrote: ↑Tue Aug 27, 2024 1:30 pm Fuck me, have people actually seen us play? James is a shadow of his former self but he would still be one of our best players, most of the team can barely pass and control the ball.
Being the best player in a Everton team doesnt make you a great player by any stretch of the imagination. I wouldnt go near it even on a free as its massively the wrong direction, but wow, how we could do with someone of his ability and creativity

Re: Summer Transfer Window Discussion
I agree, but we know Dyche would never bring in someone who can't run and do the off the ball stuff, and James has never really been that player but definitely isn't now.Raptor wrote: ↑Tue Aug 27, 2024 1:30 pm Fuck me, have people actually seen us play? Why are we discussing James yet again? I think people need to move on. Yes he was a sexy ball player with ability the likes we've rarely seen, but surely enough time has passed since those first 6 games where he was fit and determined for us to no longer be talking about him, let alone the merits of him in a Dyche system

Re: Summer Transfer Window Discussion
You'd think people would be able to see how he was a liability off the ball by the time he left us. Never mind after 4 more free transfersAjaxAndy wrote: ↑Tue Aug 27, 2024 2:10 pm Why are we discussing James yet again? I think people need to move on. He's had 5 free transfers in a row while still under contract. That's not because he's been a successKerryblueboy wrote: ↑Tue Aug 27, 2024 2:23 pm Liability yeah my god if that man was a liability what the fuck are Keane and holgate

Re: Summer Transfer Window Discussion
He was amazing at the start of the season. By the end he was much less motivated and being targeted defensively. There wasn't a queue of decent sides wanting him when we got rid.Kerryblueboy wrote: ↑Tue Aug 27, 2024 2:51 pm I’m talking about when he was here with us stop making out he was shit here because he wasn’t
Suggesting he'd be our best player now is just plain silly.

Do they pay billions in loan fees or is it for purchases only?

Re: Summer Transfer Window Discussion
Think he would have said we tried but they said no if that was the case. But I agree can’t see us getting 2 midfielders unless we’re gonna sell doucs. With garner we have cover in midfieldCozzie wrote: ↑Tue Aug 27, 2024 5:06 pm I believe he means we tried for Amrabat but ended up going for Mangala. Doubt we will be getting both.
If this guy comes in I believe we have one more domestic loan slot. Likely to be Trippier if reports are true and then I reckon that's your lot unless someone comes in for Dom late in the window.

You need to shut your fat mouth and brush your teeth. James was the best thing to happen to this club in the last 20 years (bar Stracqualursi).AjaxAndy wrote: ↑Tue Aug 27, 2024 2:10 pm Why are we discussing James yet again?
