Tbf I did love James and Ancelotti, a brief but very happy affair!

Needed it so bad. Was a pleasure to watch. A pleasure and a rare treasure.

Today’s rumours:

Utd, Newcastle and Chelsea in for Dom.

Maupay to Marseille has been resurrected.

Chelsea must surely be as a back up in case the Toney deal doesnt happen.

Reckon it will be Newcastle for Dom with Trippier coming here.

Haven't a clue who we replace Dom with though.

Broja keeps repeating again after his Ipswich move fell through

Isn't he injured though? Which is why it fell through.

We'd be foolish to go there I reckon.

I didn't know, but just looked.. suffering an Achilles injury that could keep him out for seven weeks yeah, I don't rate him anyway but too risky, we don't need a player who will miss 7 weeks and take another maybe 3/4 weeks to get him up to speed.

Wouldn’t be the first time we signed an injured player who didn’t start for three months.

I think Dom goes and we sign a winger. Maybe a random, inadequate striker on loan.

Think we need the Dom sale to keep the lights on.

Yeah I think we need a sale to keep inside FFP, otherwise a big sale before the next deadline in the summer and early, so would be Jarrad for a lower fee similar to how Onana went.

Hope he goes soon and we get a punt that works out. Do we have a domestic loan left? What's Chris Wood saying?

I notice Gomes hasn't signed for anyone. Once more with feeling?

Absolutely no chance Beto gets 10+ goals he has no first touch that last night was against lower league defenders if dcl goes and maupay and we go with Beto and chermitti then we will be in trouble

Beto would definitely bag 10-15 goals if he played all season up front. It wouldn't look pretty all the time and we'd lose some of the attributes that Dom brings to the team, but the raw numbers would look better.

Beto wants to run in behind the defence on the shoulder, so you would get more out of him playing Ndiaye in behind him than Doucoure also.
