Against those big fuckers that Newcastle have at the back that was the right call by Moyes, he was a right handful for them.

It’s infuriating because he’s a perfectly good CF for this level when the ball isn’t bouncing off him constantly.

Unfortunately, it feels like the matches where he can control the ball are the exception, not the norm.

Would be nice if he magically rounded a corner when it comes to that.

You see some holes in players like Dibling, or Iroegbunam, Barry or even Garner and they're all places that players can realistically improve with experience and training.

But your touch and ability to control a ball? It can improve, yeah. But not to the same extent as learning when to move into a space or show a player onto their weaker foot.

To be fair to beto he was very decent the back end of last season. His performance yesterday was too.

We played him in behind a lot yesterday rather than lashing it to his head on the halfway line. He also played well in the same fixture last season. Maybe we're trying to bait Newcastle into buying him.
