Think we'll always bear the scars of Martinez when we were 2-0 up and they scored in about the 98th minute to make it 3-3 and then the Goodison collapse last year. They seem to have our number at the moment.

Just need to grind out a draw here, back to basics, flat midfield 3 to cope with the Gana loss, take the point and play ugly when required and hope the flair players can create something at the other end.

Alright Moyesy, calm down, they're only a point ahead of us, haven't won since October and shipping goals for fun at the moment which is probably the ideal time to face us.
Not that we can't get a result, it's definitely possible!

The win against United got us all dreaming and giddy about what’s possible.
The fact is that we are going to finish mid table doing nothing and threatening nothing all year. The football at times will be watchable and that’s about it. It’s what we could have only dreamed about over the past few seasons.
It’s going to take years to write the wrongs of the damage caused over the last 8 years. Every now and then we will get reminders of how far we have to go with performances and results like that against Newcastle. It doesn’t mean that we haven’t improved, but merely that we have a long way to go.

One hundred percent this, we just forget where we’ve been in recent seasons, our default is we’re one of the big four, or for the slightly younger people the big six or seven.
