How do we get on in the cup?UnsyisaRhino wrote: ↑Tue Jan 16, 2024 9:37 pm You heard it here first, our original punishment will be re-evaluated and changed to 4 points now, a further 4 points suspended depending on meeting certain criteria and a fine. The new ruling will end up being a fine only.
We'll finish 16th comfortably.

Pickford gets sent off for deliberate handball although replays show it was inside the area

Re: Relegation
Bit harsh. I’m like the OP - I like to look at what’s in our control and plan for that - even from a worst case scenario basis. It just feels more positive to take control and understand the challenge.
I guess different people like to look at problems in different ways.
Re: Relegation
It just felt it was a massive knee jerk to the news at the time. Until we know what, if any deduction we have there's no point trying to guess what the net table looks like. We're all pissed off but it's a fucking grind when people add more to the already relentless negativity surrounding the club.Toddacelli wrote: ↑Wed Jan 17, 2024 9:39 am Bit harsh. Crack on and play "guess the points deduction" if you want, I don't think it helps anyone to do it though.
Re: Relegation
Well, relegation zone it is then. Considering we've lost twice to Luton already this season then it's probably not a great sign for the game away from home. See Awoniyi is back for Forest as well which is a shame.
Hopefully not but let's say we get another 10 point deduction and Forest are also are given a 10 point deduction, it'd look like this:
16 Luton 19 points
17 Burnley 12 points
18 Forest 10 points
19 Sheffield United 10 points
20 Everton 8 points
As absurd as being deducted 20 points in one season would be, we'd still somehow stand a chance.

Re: Relegation
Yeah the deduction, another breach and a poor run has knocked the stuffing out of me.
But referring back to the Deduction thread, if the other 18 teams are compliant and always have been, why have they all stopped spending money all at the same time, like never before?

Re: Relegation
Is there a scenario where administration, writing off most of our debt as a result, a points deduction, relegation and then being bought out by new owners with our new ground in place isn't necessarily the end of the world?

Yep, the 10 point deduction is taking its toll - on me, anyway

Re: Relegation
Luton have peaked too early and have all the top sides still to play away from home.
As long as we don't get a further deduction we'll finish above them

Re: Relegation
I'd like to say it's in our own hands, but given the second charge I don't actually think that's true.
If we don't get any points back but avoid a second deduction I think we can finish above them as it'll be hard for them to keep up this level.
Should we receive a second deduction I can only really see us going down.

Re: Relegation
Another points deduction and we go, can't see us stringing 5/7 wins or what ever is was like in Nov/Dec. Seems ages ago . Think we possibly could catch Burnley . Just think it would sap the whole club fan base .
