Alright, do we really need the hyperbole?

He’s been a good striker for us, just not as good as others seem to think.

I think the injury has a lot to do with his form this season.

He just looks devoid of any aggression of desire to score a goal.

He was played in on goal on a couple of occasions yesterday and was either offside or turned back when he could have taken the ball in his stride and got a shot off.

The service isn’t great from these crosses but he is nowhere near them.

Beto is the main man until Dom looks like he wants to try and score some goals.

You're right. My issue isn't so much with dcl but with people being desperate to blame everyone but him for his form. He's missed loads of chances this season. His finishing will be 1 of the main reasons we are relegated. A decent player ruined by injuries. There's none of him left though.

I go over the top because i tend to think there's barely anyone without blame. Players managers dof owners directors. It's a really short list for people who've done a genuinely decent job probably in the last decade

In his defence we relied on him being able to transform into the main striker when it certainly wasn't nailed on, we failed miserably in buying a proper CF and carried on buying umpteen players we didn't need and were shite, he had support and proper tactics under the brief Carlo reign but he was too heavily gambled on and the pressure on him to produce has been enormous, still think all the blame falls on the pathetic, feckless performance of the people who have run this club, it's mostly always been dire, the chickens are home.

Damn, would be rotten luck if he's out after two goals in two games and looking pretty hungry against Burnley

I’m as frustrated with him as anyone but two things stand out right now. 1) he’s not the same physically as he was before the injury. 2) picking it up out wide, dribbling into the box and getting a shot off is great, but that should be our winger doing that with Dom waiting to pounce if the keeper spills it.

He’s not in the mixer where he should be and he’s not bullying and trying to dominate like he should be.

What could be if this lad can stay fit. On his day he's one of the best centre forwards I've seen. He was fucking outstanding tonight
