Re: Today's Football 2023-24
Why would Newcastle play in their home strip? Especially given it’s half the same color as Sunderland and the exact same pattern?
Re: Today's Football 2023-24
That’s a foul.
Ref has bottled it because he knows he has to send him off.

A few police horses outside chomping at the bit to give a Newcastle fan a hoof sandwich I'd imagine too

It's a foul all day long, McCoist is talking absolute shite.
Initially gets across Isak but because Isak is quicker ends up behind him, goes down and drags / knocks Isak over.
No attempt to play the ball - straight red card.

Didn’t realise Sunderland are 6th in the Championship, it’s been less competitive than I’d have thought based on that.

Re: Today's Football 2023-24
I've been wondering what ''the magic of the FA Cup'' even means anymore, given that they schedule it all over the place and devalue it themselves and as far as I can work out I think it just means ''let lower league teams off with clear red cards, and patronise them for being old school and working class on commentary''.
Re: Today's Football 2023-24
Sunderland have been bullied physically tbf. It's a comfortable game for Newcastle, although they've not been great either.
