Arsenal won't get top 4 imo.

I think I'd find it a lot easier to watch them lot if I didn't hear "Trent" every two minutes. Pretty sure there isn't a single other Premier League player that is referred to only by his first name.

As a fan I reckon Arsenal must be one of the most frustrating to watch.

It's like Arteta deliberately discourages them to score in training or something.

I think their big mistake is spending a combined £100m on Havertz and Raya. Imagine you add in a £100m striker to that team at the level of Rice.

Also letting Granit Xhaka go looks like another big error. He was a big part of their team last season and he's doing great things for Leverkusen.

You’re right, I was thinking it’s because of his double barrelled name but you don’t hear them saying “James” (Ward Prowse)
“Alex” (Oxlade chamberlain) “Ruben” (Loftus Cheek) “Aaron” (Wan Bissaka) etc. etc.

I had a thought as well, there's more syllables in his name. There was also 6 syllables in Bilyaletdinov as well but I don't remember many commentators calling him Diniyar!

And the blatantly obvious one …….you never hear them saying “Dominic” (guess who)

It's because Liverpool fans call him Trent, there's loads of Liverpool fans and ex-Liverpool players in the media, they all repeatedly call him Trent and then it spreads to neutrals like Shearer etc.

I cringed when I thought I heard the commentator mention “Virgil” at one point

I find you can get a mild bite out of them if you can get them on to Trent being the best passer in the PL by replying that you actually think Kevin is better.

You can see the cogs whirring as to why you have randomly started calling de Bruyne by just his first name.

After the third round of the FA Cup where only Premier League grounds had VAR and matches at other grounds didn't have VAR...

Both Carabao Cup SF ties will not have VAR because Middlesbrough don't have it at their stadium in spite of the other one being Liverpool v Fulham.

Make it make sense.
