Getting there. All the signs seem to point to them really getting Roma under control. All good so far.

I can maybe start to take down my patent pending Everton Mental Health Deflector Shield™ and get emotionally invested once again.

This, and the early signs in the transfer market, should at least improve the seasons fortune and have us mid table with some degree of safety

If the debt is restructured/paid off does the money no longer being paid toward interest evaporate and thus dramatically improving our PSR number?

MSP was only a part of the debt. There's still £200m to 777 and £180m to R&M Funding so until thats all sorted we're nowhere near dramatically improving anything.

Both clubs play in top domestic leagues. It’s hard for academy players with limited professional experience to crack either first team.

You usually expect the clubs in a multi-club ownership model to be in leagues of differing quality so that academy players can be consistently lent to the highest level where they’ll play regularly.

I’m certainly not complaining about an owner who wants to stabilize our finances and run the club sustainably and I’m sure there are ways in which pooling resources will be helpful. It just seems a bit overly ambitious for one group to control two big clubs. It’s hard enough to achieve a high level of success with one big club with new financial rules effectively pulling the ladder up.
Only time will tell if these (lofty) aspirations will work but as you post it is nice to see an owner with the semblance of a plan and not just winging it as Moshiri has.

I don't know enough about the current situation with multi-club ownership but am excited/interested to see how this group will work.

Hopefully, the beginning of better times for Everton and for us all.

There’s probably not much wriggle room on the MSP & R&M debt but on the loan from 777, with them in administration there is scope to negotiate a better deal (better for us that is)

Perhaps repayment of that will be part of the purchase. Fingers crossed!

Pretty sure it’s a drop in the ocean, he’ll pay off all loans and create one big new loan, but on more favourable terms.

The club can handle a decent chunk of debt long term and so it might be the aim to have £200m or so remaining on long term borrowing, especially if they can get that rate down to 7/8% or so.

Imagine they will try and issue a 20/30year bond at that rate - should be attractive to investors.
