Need to drastically improve at the back our goal difference is already terrible and we have some games coming up where it could easily balloon if we’re not careful.
At what point do we hire Moyes? Feels like this path might lead there.
West ham shipped four goals an alarming number of times last season.

Don’t think he makes much improvement.
While I don't like going back and Moyes has his limitations, I think you see West Ham before and after him and it's fairly safe to argue he could be a good manager to set us up for better things down the road as I doubt we go from Dyche to amazing just like that. Recruitment is going to be a pivotal to get right and that is one of Moyes' strong suits.
That said, I doubt these are the owners who would go for him. I imagine they'd be far more likely to go for a Sarri or someone who is more of a name if anything.
I think the worry is now there's a gap starting to appear and it's still fairly early in the season. We're four behind West Ham and now seven behind Bournemouth, for a team averaging less than a point a game that's a huge gap to try and close especially with an horrendous run of fixtures about to come and that's also with a relatively easy start to the season. I haven't looked at anyone else's fixtures but the bottom six are in danger of being cut adrift and I don't fancy us to pull a gap to any of them and I don't think this team has a fight in them, even the worst team in the league has had their only win against us.

Sadly I think you are spot on, had a look at our remaining fixtures for the season and based on our current form the most points I can come up with is 19, will 30 be enough ?
See how Ipswich get on tonight. Obviously beat Spurs and drew against United whilst they lost late on against Forest. Signs there they've got into their groove.
If they fail to beat Palace at home though then I'm writing them off as another Luton

I think that's a near certainty (that they'll be a massive gap) The worry is that palace and or wolves pick up and it becomes a battle between 5 or even 4
It appears like there is a clear bottom 6 right now. West Ham have looked poor, but you still look at them and think there is enough there for them to be ok and even a relatively small gap is looking pretty big when the points everyone below are getting are fairly small.
I've only looked at the bottom 6 fixtures until the end of the year and most likely all those teams will continue to struggle I think with their upcoming fixtures (on the whole, one or two have some games they could win). Certainly some question marks popping up though as to how Leicester will be under their new manager, and whether Ipswich and even Southampton who've both looked a bit better in recent weeks will grind out more points on average than they have so far this season. Crystal Palace for me remain a bit of a question mark, but I still think it's a fairly safe bet to say the 3 you want to stay above are Leicester, Southampton and Ipswich.
We could certainly drop into the bottom 3 by the end of the year but the only positive is it'd be unlikely I think that there will be a huge gap to the teams in 16th and 17th.
The concerning thing also for us is that whether it's just us playing harder teams now or the team itself, but you could argue we're currently looking in worse form and worse on the pitch than some of those below us.

A realistic possibility, if Leicester get a point tonight and Crystal Palace beat Ipswich, lose against Wolves and we are in the bottom three tomorrow night, thank God we have a few easily winnable fixtures after that…….oh wait a minute ?

Think even if Ipswich win then they would go above us, not hard to imagine Leicester getting something at home against a rubbish looking West Ham and the other not ending in a draw.
Tomorrow would be a big win for whoever gets it really but especially us with upcoming fixtures.

No worries mate ..just heard Dyche saying in the presser “this time last year we only had four points” so, sorted, we’re safe !
