He was pretty shit today and Picks was calling him or a lot for not winning, or competing better today. From the stands, it looked like it was a convenient injury, slightly knee jerk, but I wouldn't be starting him again.
I still can't believe he injured himself kicking the floor instead of the ball for a shot, sums us up.

Think we'll be passing on him too. We've not remotely helped him but this will go down as as big a failure as his time at Fulham. He looks like someone we just randomly signed because no one else wanted him and he was cheap

This does look a bit questionable committing to a loan three to four months before he can play. Why we couldn't have just let him get fit at Chelsea and then assessed our options I don't know.
As it is we're stuck with a player we would not rely on in our situation; plus we are one PL loan option down going into the second half of the season.

Our entire transfer policy seems to be who's willing to sign and available at a price and payment plan we can afford. We don't seem to even attempt to solve any of our problems with new signings. Just get some bodies in. Waste some more money. Repeat

If we got someone like Potter and could sign Broja and Lindstrom for a combined £30m I'd actually do it... Both I think could be good under a different manager, but there's no point asking Broja to play the DCL role, even Dom is struggling to play it despite being far more suited to it.

Lindstom hasn't scored a goal for about 60 games and broja didn't get a game on loan at Fulham and before that had a long term injury. We've signed shite no one else wanted to touch. Just random punts on players and an extremely low ebb. Then thrown then into our mentally weak team

Not judging any attacking player under this manager.

They’ve all been massively let down this season.

Obviously got quality but this isn't the manager for Broja.

Look at Iwobi for Fulham. Was legging it up and down the touchline for Dyche.

Looks alright when you get him turned towards goal.

Not with £30m of someone else's money though. Not on your nelly.

A good run of games under his belt and a few goals and this lad will fly.

Has the ability to create something out of nothing, unlike Beto, Doucoure and DCL who can only create nothing out of something.

Don’t think we’re gonna see him for a while, looked badly crocked yesterday, was feeling his lower back.

Still can't believe the divot he took trying to shoot, reminded me of 50% of my golf shots 🤣

Re: Big Bad Broja

Kind of an interesting counterpoint to Dom.

DCL is usually great with aerial service, whether it’s doing the thankless work of contesting direct passes from deep or feasting on crosses around the six yard box.

Seems to me like Broja needs service into his feet, whether he’s dropping off and trying to turn to create space to run into or holding the defender off with his back to goal until he has the right opportunity to lay it off.

Kind of nice to have both options in the squad depending on what you need situationally (in a vacuum). In reality, neither is likely to be here next season and neither is being done any favors by our complete lack of an attacking plan, which barely makes use of either set of strengths since our lone CF is almost completely isolated.
