He was good last season. Too limited and too expensive though unfortunately
I really wish he was 1 of the worst signings we'd made. He's not in the top 10. Probably not in the top 20

I think he was given a lot of leeway because of the war, but he's really bang average as a LB and utter shite as an attacking option. He seems to lack confidence going forward so passes inside or lumps in hope

Far from one of our worse signings even though he isn’t doing well. He was what, 21 when we signed him so the attacking side of his game could have been improved with some half decent coaching but… Benitez & Dyche - was never gonna happen was it

Orchestrated fallout for transfer revenue wasn't it?

Imagine we still could have done alot better with the money, or even kept him, as Digne is still performing well above what we've had since he left.

We could've been so so much better the last few years had we kept him.

Imagine a side with Digne, James and Richie in it. :(

Before anyone dives in, yes, he's crap, but he's the only left back at the club.

Providing the club recruits properly in Jan or the Summer he's a more than capable back up.

We still need a squad.

Yeah as long as he wage is sensible then I have no issue with him signing a new contract, just has to be back up from next season though.

Gods sake.

Would be absolutely fine with this if he was on v low wages and we had a first team LB.

But this absolute loser is sadly the first choice lb and puts in a terrified disasterclass every single week.

Just hope we sign someone at some point to give us other options on both sides of the pitch. If we still have Young and Coleman as options next season then I despair

Contracted until Jun 2026, so it makes sense.

Give him a full season under a new manager and we're in Jun 2026. Hopefully it's only 2 years as that'll put us in a decent enough position to sell him that summer assuming he doesn't improve.

Ropey at the minute but he's played well for a long period before and as bad as he is going forward, some of that is on the manager.

Sign him up. Cheap as chips. One less postilion to worry abut short term but needs replacing longer terms obvs.

It would be good to see him under a more offensive minded manager, he does have a really good cross on him at times it's just we rarely see it. It's so frustrating seeing him get the ball, put his foot on it then roll back to someone.
