Financial Fairplay Investigation - 2025 Nobody in Breach
Re: Financial Fairplay Investigation - 4 Points Back
Im confused. We had an owner who was passed fit and proper by the PL.
Said owner fucks up MASSIVELY, despite. Apparently. Being an accountant.
So we ( the fans and the club) get penalised. Under financially sustainability rules which threatens our financial sustainability.
While.said owner sells us to a dodgy as fuck group.
So. Where is the justice?
Where is the logic?
On top of this other clubs have " broken" the rules on far more occasions. And have yet to be held to account. In fact not been penalised in any form.
But we the fans, should just take it and shut up?
Fuck right off. Jordan is a self rightous prick.
Im sick of some of our supporters they deserve a second rate club. But NOT MY CLUB.
We should be making a big deal of it. Like that shower would and Utd fans would.
Thats a winning mentality.
Dont take shit.
The PL are a useless bunch of pricks who run a private club for themselves. NOT the fans.

Both Brap and RAM are spot on as is Jordan...we broke the rules got caught got punished.....
for me it was the process, procedures and lack of clarity of what the rules actually were...that led to a punishment that that was quite incoherent and out of sync with with other punishments already issued.. which means it was basically a message to all...break the rules this is what you can expect....except is it ?
Bottom line for me is still these FFP/PSR regulations are an absolute nonsensical farce that is in place to sustain a product with 6 market leaders. If you are a club/business that cant manage it's finances then you deserve to go out of business and the PL goes on without you...end of. So how does a regulation and subsequent punishment that puts you absolutely directly in line to lose more income that could sustain the business and send you in that direction.... help the club/business ?

The new rules are far far far worse
At least currently everyone has a limit of £105m
When it goes to revenue based, the top clubs will be laughing
So whilst it might let us spend day around £150m per season (yay happy days compared to the current limits) it’ll let the big teams spend £400m+, the gap will get massively wider very very quickly

So after letting the top clubs rake it in for years. Now they pull the ladder up so no one can compete fairly?
Fuck the PL. Hope the fuckers do make a super.league and fuck off. Football is in its dying phase for a lot of supporters. Greed is rampant now.
No gives a shit for supporters. And they have given up any pretence now.

Whilst I agree with you, and you have mentioned this, it will certainly benefit us in a huge way.Cereal Killer wrote: ↑Thu Feb 29, 2024 10:54 am The new rules are far far far worse

Our revenue is going to skyrocket once the stadium is up and running. We will be as much a top club as Villa and WH and our revenue should surpass both of those clubs given the opportunity set we have.
The aim will then be to break into the next level after that which has and will be a very hard task. But if the club has the vision and the right people at the helm, anything is possible.
I would feel sorry for clubs like Brighton who are really well run but will be hit harder as their revenue is smaller.
Re: Financial Fairplay Investigation - 4 Points Back
ALL well and good but the rumours are there's 6 teams looking at suing us because of the guilty verdict on breaking the PRS regulations !!Gary1878 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 29, 2024 12:52 pm Whilst I agree with you, and you have mentioned this, it will certainly benefit us in a huge way.

If we was to be sued, those clubs would have to also sue Forrest if they are found guilty and if man city are guilty everyone would then sue man city as both those clubs would have broken the rules for some of the same periods as us, then who is truly liable to pay out, this would be a cluster fuck, imagine man city's bill if they was sued, 100m per club per season for like 9 years that works out at £17,100,000,000, that's £17 billion yes with a B
So don't take these figures of everton being sued for £300-500m as anything other than fanciful

Re: Financial Fairplay Investigation - 4 Points Back
I’m sure I heard on White and Jordan yesterday that clubs can’t sue other clubs, it would have to be the the premier league they sue.
Re: Financial Fairplay Investigation - 4 Points Back
Although I never mentioned any figure I totally agree with what you’re saying to a point apparently it’s the 6 relegated teams in the 2 seasons we survived apparently 1 of them has already gone legal with it rumour was it was Leeds ? The city chelsea cases don’t come into this as they “never gained a sporting advantage” over said teams as they weren’t part of a relegation fight. We were and stayed up.HANNU wrote: ↑Thu Feb 29, 2024 3:51 pm If we was to be sued, those clubs would have to also sue Forrest if they are found guilty and if man city are guilty everyone would then sue man city as both those clubs would have broken the rules for some of the same periods as us, then who is truly liable to pay out, this would be a cluster fuck, imagine man city's bill if they was sued, 100m per club per season for like 9 years that works out at £17,100,000,000, that's £17 billion yes with a B

This is a civil lawsuit so nothing to do with PL sustainability rules…..
The premier league is a shambles and is as badly managed and run as we were\are….

Still don’t get how on earth Everton can be held responsible for the Premier Leagues abject failure to do their jobs properly. It’s the PL’s fault Everton’s points deduction didn’t happen last year (thank fuck) so sue them not us

While man city are not technically in a relegation fight if they are found guilty and if they was to be kicked out of the league it can be argued that they should be classed as being relegated for all those seasons, then all clubs would be entitled to compensation for prize money, if our points deduction means we can be sued then man city should be sued by everyone they finished above of for all those seasons, it's a legal mess

Funny how the penny has suddenly dropped for other clubs

Jordan just saying that city won’t ever be punished because they can afford the best legal team and tie the premier league up in litigation for years until we all forget about it
