Music to @TheRam s ears this
He’s right though isn’t he?

Few months ago it was all about how great trackie dyche is.

Now the knives are out after one game.

As I keep saying, the fanbase has lost the plot.

I think dyche is a bit fed up. Probably feels let down by the failed takeover and the lack of understanding the fanbase has for the extremely difficult job he has.

If he was more consistent there wouldn’t be the hero zero stuff 4 months without a win then 4 in a row like I said last week our fans were looking forward to last Saturday but when they hear Keane and young in the team it drains the optimism away if we score early it massively helps but our fans know with this team that if they go behind we ain’t winning

I think as a fan base, we’re pretty consistent in thinking we’re always pretty shit. Enjoying a derby win doesn’t mean Dave in the Park End reckons Jack Harrison is one of the best wingers in the league.
I think we do. We kind of know we are shit but I think hope gets us and then we are despondent when it turns out we are shite

We went from saying what a decent job dyche did last season to people calling for him to be sacked at 2pm on the opening day of the season because of the team news. I started this season hopeful. After Brighton where I though we played okay for over half of it I'm genuinely ready for the season to be over

Thats bollocks really. We finished the season well. Won 48 points. People were happy though some begrudgingly. By 2 people wanted him gone. By 5 it was total misery

I think in our defence we are just desperate for something good to happen. We had a decade of steady decline. Miserable season after miserable season.

We try to believe when there's not much to believe in and we end up disappointed. Plus a whole load of us still struggle with the fact that we are no longer big or significant

Yeah, it’s not even about Dyche imo. Our fans just want us to be good again and any manager we have won’t be truly popular until they deliver that. The circumstances at the club are just seen as excuses.

People say they want a young, progressive manager who plays good football but someone like the Brighton manager would be getting called naive and a PE teacher after a couple of losses.

Another manager with this squad, the club situation would be worse. One thing about Dyche is he knows how to get something out of nothing. Moyes said as much the other day. Until the big picture changes we are stuck with him. No manager would want this gig, so forget it and back him.

Progressive clubs have progressive managers. We don't have the owner, board, coaching, youth system or scouting for it. On top of that in a league where everyone else is investing we have less than no money

People desperately want it to be dyches fault because that would be an easy fix. Almost everything is fucked is the actual reality. There's a danger we sack dyche and it turns out he was what was holding us together.

Dyche should be in charge of setting EPL fixtures to ensure we get a more even spread of difficulty ratings next time.

I'm not his biggest fan but can certainly appreciate Keane popping 40 yard balls out wide to Harrison et al, and he would have had yet another goal involvement if it weren't for Harrison being offside. He defends too deep, yes, but was alot better than Tarky and others against Brighton, and we're going to need him this year whether we like it or not, so why smash any confidence he might have had.

Moaning /booing our own team sheet/substitutions when we've got limited options is at best counterproductive...

Keane starting changed nothing in the atmosphere.

We started that game well, Keane was pinging, and everyone was up for it.

Re: Dyche

He doesn't even get hero to zero... He gets begrudgingly accepted for any period we're skint but only that and not beyond, to zero, to begrudgingly accepted in the short term, to zero again.

Think he's under played just how little acceptance a lot of fans have of him being here.

It's not even true though. That winless run is ages ago and we finished the season really well. It's not like we sit bottom after 5 or 6 games. 1 game into the season and people want the manager gone. A manager who as a whole has performed well 2 seasons running at a club with zero money.

Christ when it looked like the roma owner was taking over the discussion started on when we should sack dyche. He didn't take over because the club is an absolute shitshow but the fans are desperate not to see it

We are the dregs of the Premier league now. Down the bottom season after season. 1 of the favorites to go. Always 1 of the lowest spenders. We've turned into Burnley. It's fucking miserable but our target has to be to stay above the 3 promoted teams each season and improve the finances. Anything more is setting unrealistic expectations of the manager and players
