Dyche - HE'S GONE
Re: Dyche
Oh the expectations are too high oooh.
That's why you druged along at Burnley getting 37 points a year and circling the drain for a decade without ever building a decent side, leaving the them having to do a complete rebuild when you left.
Minimum expectation is where you are comfortable.

Re: Dyche
Burnley were a midtable championship side when he arrived there. Which drain were they circling for years. The complete rebuild was because some of their players stayed in the top flight and they've been a lesser team sincebrap2 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 25, 2024 12:29 pm Oh the expectations are too high oooh.

Minimum money, minimum quality, minimum scouting, minimum from the boardroom. What expectations are reasonable. We ain't circling the drain because of this manager. Its because of every manager since moyes before him. Every dof. Both owners. Its because we spent a decade pretending to be big rather than competent and appointing based on sentiment rather than sense
Least be honest. Burnley are a much better club now because Dyce had them circling the drain for years and we are completely fucked and it's little or nothing to do with him
Re: Dyche
He had years and years and years there and didn't progress them at all. He had them scrapping for survival year after year, and one year over performed, willing to guess that was with some big set piece gains.777Kidnappings wrote: ↑Sun Aug 25, 2024 12:56 pm Burnley were a midtable championship side when he arrived there. He does what he does, it's fine, but why couldn't he build anything at Burnley?
Cause he's a low expectation graft and shift hit it long don't concede manager with no creativity in the market or on the pitch.
Not a manager to take you forward, but will keep you swilling water out the boat at a good rate.
Re: Dyche
He had no money, took them from relegation candidates in the championship to premier league stability.
He did a great job and Burnley finishing 7th place is up there with the greatest premier league achievements.
But anything to have a dig now init.
So, very, very boring all this.
