Love him or loathe him, he did get the stadium up and running, and for that I’d love him to be able to go to the last game without the fear of abuse.

Might have been mentioned in this thread but is it open to walk around it yet or not?

Maybe not the final game at Goodison, but should be welcome at the first game at Everton Stadium.Bluebridge wrote: ↑Tue May 13, 2025 4:32 am Love him or loathe him, he did get the stadium up and running, and for that I’d love him to be able to go to the last game without the fear of abuse.
Say what you will, the man did spend (spent well) on the new ground and on the team (spent horribly).

Still a bit of Everton Way to finish. I think they originally said it'd be open to the public from June.

Re: New Everton Stadium at Bramley Moore Dock
Appreciate the feelings towards Moshiri - and i agree his naivete very nearly destroyed the club.
But, that very same "useful idiot" vibe is what allowed for Dan Meis to have free reign to create an actual vision.
Any other owner in charge, including the ones we have now, and we were getting something much more generic in a field somewhere.
Ok, paying for the stadium has nearly destroyed us as well. I also appreciate that. But he definitely only wanted the best for us - he was just too incompetent to realise how to implement that on the football side of things.

We can just acknowledge and be thankful for what he did in terms of the new stadium, as well as angry about the overall shambolic way the club was run under his watch.
We don't need to do anything or honour him in any way for that good part.
