Could be just encouraging Everton to maximise their contract offer.

Him, Doucoure and Coleman deserve a massive load of fuss at the last game if they’re leaving.

Sports Witness just aggregate news from elsewhere. This has come from an intereview with Gueye's agent, reported here. What I can't work out, is there seems to be a typo in describing his agent's name - definitely the right agency though, he joined them in May 2024. I wouldn't be surprised if it's just the agent stirring the waters while he's also negotiating a renewal with Everton.

Senegalese international Idrissa Gana Gueye , a former Paris Saint-Germain player currently at Everton, is set to join the Saudi Pro League during the next summer transfer window.

In an interview with Africafoot, Moroccan player Taieb El Idrissi 's agent confirmed, in collaboration with Roc Nation Sports—Gueye's exclusive representative—that an agreement is being finalized. He stated that two concrete offers have been received, from Saudi clubs Al Ahly and Al Ettifaq.

"Idrissa Gueye is like a precious metal: the older he gets, the more his value increases. At 35, he's still an integral part of Everton's official squad. He's played 37 games this season."

Reckon he is finalising a move for Gana.

Reckon Gana just signs a deal if Everton offer him one regardless (unless it's insultingly low or only for 1 year)

Still think he does one more season here.

He can still go to Saudi next season as a top player and finish with the money.

Move heaven and Earth to keep him here.

Double his wages, I don't care.

Absolute machine again today.

Is he actually currently the best he's ever been? I think he just might be.

I think so. Hasn’t lost much in terms of energy or pace but his reading of the game and ability on the ball are better than ever.

Immense player, I never would have imagined he had this good of a second act in him.

He's suddenly become really good in possession, did not see that coming.

More than happy to go against the "prudent and efficient rules for running a football club" and give a player of his age more than a 1 year contract.

You could talk me into a 3 year one to ensure we have him in the team for the next year/18 months.

Always been one of my favourites, I’ve never doubted him and said on here a couple of years back that’s he’s probably got another 3-5 years in him. A naturally fit athlete in the same mould as Ronaldo and, dare I say it, Young.
Definitely a must that we tie him down to a new contract.
