When he showed what he's got it was clear he had way too much from them. Burst of pace, strength, he was just way too much.

The touch and stuff is absolutely wild but maybe he's just playing poorly?

I think if Dyche did something radical and started him against Spurs instead of DCL you might see an impressive performance.

He plays off the shoulder of defenders. Either ball to feet, on the ground or behind the defender for him to run onto. He can’t hold the ball up if it’s anywhere above knee height. Basically, he’s completely useless in our system - can understand why Dyche left early.

There's a difference between looking shit against an under 23 team and then having a sudden short patch of performing as a 26 year old £25m striker should against such weak opposition, and expecting that to somehow translate in to a 90 minute performance against men playing in the most competitive league in world football.

He's never ever going to be someone who is capable of playing in this system under this manager in this league.

Mind you he's scored 18 goals in 31 matches on my FM game and is second top scorer behind Haaland so maybe it's all Dyche's fault and I'm the next Pep.

Can’t be starting Beto away to the likes of spurs he can’t hold up the ball has a poor first touch there would be no outlet at all dcl for all his faults is very good at receiving the ball under pressure and buying his team a bit of time just needs more bodies around him
