Re: Everton v Spurs
Van der Ven pushed Pickford in the chest just as the ball was coming in. Pushed him off balance. Rules changing during the game?
Re: Everton v Spurs
Our goal was chalked off because of the position of our players, not any push.
That said, Pickford was pushed there.

Re: Everton v Spurs
Switched it off now. Ready for another season to be over. Honestly im fucking sick of it. Best part of 100m on the bench and no right back. We deserve better than such ineptitude
Re: Everton v Spurs
Grealish had a shot from 5 yards blocked on the line, disallowed goal, feel like beto should have at least got a shot off and on target by this point.
Have they had a shot other than the corners? I dont think Pickford has faced any shots other than the corners.
Re: Everton v Spurs
Been the better team but they appeal an interference with their keeper and we didn't even bother. Pickford HAS to protest that as if it goes to VAR it gets disallowed because of giving almost the identical decision the other way!
I'm pissed off with the ref / VAR but we're too fucking nice when it comes to shit like that, you at the very least appeal it and hope it gets disallowed FFS!

Re: Everton v Spurs
They didn't interfere though
It shouldn't be disallowed
A push interferes more of course.
But it's the same old shite
Re: Everton v Spurs
Beto is so frustrating to watch, I don't get why he doesn't just fling himself at that ball across and we're back in it. The zonal marking hasn't worked on the corners, and you'd have thought after the first few corners you'd just stick Tarks, Keane or O'Brien on VDV and let him get to it
Re: Everton v Spurs
Doesn't matter if know one even complains that there was a foul,. fucking laughable that we just go 'oh well let's just kick off and accept being 2-0 down'NomadskiEFC wrote: ↑Sun Oct 26, 2025 5:26 pm Only one keeper got a level of protection from the officials on set pieces.

Re: Everton v Spurs
Think we've looked far more likely from open play to score, Grealish one off the line, Beto in shit positions.
Problem is we don't have an out ball having beto up there.
Personally think our goal should have stood.
Think we've been far more positive on the ball than they have.
Could have defended the corners better but, yeah.
Re: Everton v Spurs
A competent striker and a competent right back transforms this side.
Got to look at that in Jan.

Re: Everton v Spurs
Yeah Beto's been awful, doesn't like the ball in to feet, doesn't like it in to his chest, doesn't like it played to his head, doesn't like it when it's crossed in to him. Diabolical player.

Re: Everton v Spurs
Stop talking shit. He hasn't missed a tap in. We've created 1 quarter of a goal worth of chances all half. You're allowed not to like him. Can have any opinion you like. You're not entitled to different facts thoughAudrey Horne wrote: ↑Sun Oct 26, 2025 5:28 pm Missed a tap on against city , lost 2-0.
