Re: Tim Iroegbunam
Think we're all pretty much saying the same thing, aren't we?
Pleasantly surprised in pre-season, hope he can translate it into (some sort of sustained) good form in the league but not really expecting too much given that our main reason for buying him seemed to be circumventing PSR?

Re: Tim Iroegbunam
I hope not! Will keep an eye on it elsewhere like but I've not been intentionally trying to do so.
Then again a few people in here have clearly picked up on something so yeah, I will try and be aware of it!
Re: Tim Iroegbunam
Long time lurker and literally registered to posr that his name would go well in a chant based on Piano Man by Billy Joel. Helps getting the pronunciation right ha
Has been stuck in my head and had to get it out but also take full responsibility if he flops.
Sing us a song, Tim Iroegbunam,
Making your midfield look shite,
Leading the Toffees to victory,
Making the future look bright

Re: Tim Iroegbunam
Realised half way through trying this I was actually singing the tune to Rocket Man
Re: Tim Iroegbunam
I can get behind that. Always sing ‘docket man’ to myself in the bookies on a Saturday though

Re: Tim Iroegbunam
This lad needs a song to teach some of us how to say his name.
It would be a bonus if we could also get one to teach us how to spell it.
“Give me a T!….”

Tim's as easy a name to say and spell as Todd is, to be fair mate.Toddacelli wrote: ↑Wed Aug 14, 2024 5:20 am This lad needs a song to teach some of us how to say his name.

Tbf I did say last year it was a gamble relying on Jarrad and he's ended up the best U23 CB in the world so you know
Re: Tim Iroegbunam
Lovely.
A sickening thought absolutely rattled through my body before though.
If Wee Jimmy Garner was fit we likely wouldn't have seen this dude

Good performance from the young lad.

Re: Tim Iroegbunam
A very encouraging debut I thought. A strong first half with some nice crisp passing, good pressing and tackling. Faded a bit second half which was to be expected. Just hope people don’t put too much pressure on him
