Well over a third of the Gordon money went on a years wages for Holgate gomes and ali. Least we've had the pleasure of seeing such starsUnsyisaRhino wrote: ↑Sun Mar 31, 2024 9:04 pm How the fuck are we selling every bit of talent and still losing 89 million?

Because the sale of Gordon was the only major one that impacted these books. Simms, Cannon, iwobi, Kean and Gray will be reflected in next year's.UnsyisaRhino wrote: ↑Sun Mar 31, 2024 9:04 pm How the fuck are we selling every bit of talent and still losing 89 million?
Not that I'm attempting to excuse the £89m loss, but there you go.

Supported the club through the Johnson years. Never thought we’d be worse off now than back then.

Did I read somewhere that we can offset some of the development costs of the new stadium that’s a big chunk of the losses

More than just a coincidence that they slipped this out at tea time on Easter Sunday when most journalists etc will be on holiday until Tuesday, 'a good time break bad news' etc.

There isn't a way out though is there really?
If we survive this season I'd voluntarily just go into administration next season, take the 9 point hit and just completely restart. Hope by some miracle we survive again and get to the new stadium.

Denise Barrett-Baxendale kind of sums up our plight to be honest. No previous experience of being a CEO in football, promoted internally due to her work with EITC, (probably) thrown under the bus in the war against the fans, compliant in the dismal running of the club, nowhere to be seen in the points deductions process and then swans off into the sunset with a massive payoff and likely to walk into another club in the future.

Totally agree. We've paid top money over and over for substandard people. Can't see her ever finding her way to another club though. Others aren't as daft as usShogun wrote: ↑Mon Apr 01, 2024 11:47 am Denise Barrett-Baxendale kind of sums up our plight to be honest.
