David Moyes
Re: David Moyes
Have to make an example sometimes though.
McNeil and Dibling hid from the ball all half and got played through constantly with lazy pressing.

Re: David Moyes
The halftime sub should have been Rohl/Armstrong for JOB with Garner going to RB. Dibling and McNeil were terrible first half as well and I get why they were hooked but it didn't really fix the problems.
Missed the goal from him because I fancied getting the train in good time but I thought Barry looked lost second half.

Re: David Moyes
Yeah Barry pretty much disappeared after the formation change. Glad he got his goal and thought he was actually pretty good first half... Struggled with what he was asked to do though after half time.Shogun wrote: ↑Sun Jan 04, 2026 6:10 pm The halftime sub should have been Rohl/Armstrong for JOB with Garner going to RB. Re: David Moyes
I would agree but o Brien to centre back and Keane off tark and job should be starting until Jared comes backShogun wrote: ↑Sun Jan 04, 2026 6:10 pm The halftime sub should have been Rohl/Armstrong for JOB with Garner going to RB. Re: David Moyes
The wrong starting eleven and the wrong subs. Id say:
1. Never is McNeil a No.10. He should never be anywhere on the pitch other than left wing.
2. Thiago is big, strong, fairly quick and in form. JOB'S height and pace against him was our best bet to keep him at bay.
3. Which would have allowed Garner to move to RB and give support to Dibling. I get that Garner had a good game against Forest but the whole team did because we had balance on both sides.
4. Killed it with the change of shape. Thats a last 20 mins approach. Rohl and JOB giving width on the right was an awful decision.

Re: David Moyes
Disappointed to see a Moyes side being outfought, outcompeted and second best in everything at home with great support.

Re: David Moyes
I’m disappointed that a manager who played centre back himself can’t figure out a way to better defend or attack set pieces especially corners opposition teams know put the ball in the six yard box and they have a chance surely he needs to bring in a set piece coach

Re: David Moyes
Look at the spurs Newcastle and yesterday games 5 goals conceded from corners absolutely unacceptable considering the height we have
Re: David Moyes
They had obviously done their homwork to drop it on top of Pickford and attack it. Any look at our last few home games by their analytics dept tells you they would get some joy.Free Agent wrote: ↑Mon Jan 05, 2026 12:17 pm Was Brentfords first goal from 96 corners or something like that wasn’t it?
