Absolutely bombed there hasn't he.

Just for the sake of discussion. Would anyone have him back?

I wouldn't but he was a decent enough utility player.

Another young player let down by the club. Bought young like we should be doing and came with fairly decent potential but injuries, Covid and the general shit show that was going on at the club meant his development was badly hampered, became more of a utility player rather than focus and develop him in one position. I think I'm right in saying that in amongst all that his mental health suffered too, must be pretty hard going from being asked to come and train with the England squad to being a bit part player, in and out the team and picking up injuries. Been another common theme in the club, players not getting much game time so then breakdown when they do get a chance.

Wow, that was fast.

Absolutely wouldn’t have him back. He never had the technical ability or footballing brain to be a plus player at this level despite his unreal athleticism. He’s going to be left with nothing as that declines. If Gasperini couldn’t sort out the mental side of his game, he’s probably not going to figure it out.

We did well to unload his contract, I wouldn’t want him on the books in the back half of his 20s.

Shocking if other PL sides are in for him. I don’t even think he’d be a good defender at the Championship level.

Risk free. It probably couldn't have gone worse and they'll still get their money back. He's a God awful footballer though.

Tbf to the lad, having seen the Tyson fight, I’m more confident of Godders putting in a damaging right cross.
