Nah, I think he's a bit different to Danjuma. A lot younger and hungrier.
Danjuma's more of a wide forward who wants to stay higher up the pitch that we tried to crowbar into a wide midfielder position, whereas Diallo has got the pace and engine to get up and down. Think it's the sort of deal we should be looking at (if he's available), to give us a little more cutting edge in the final third.
Also, that Paddy Boyland article in the Athletic that was referenced on here the other day suggested we're looking for loans/free and looking to add more thrust in forward/wide areas. I think a loan for Diallo would tick both of those boxes.
I hope so because I rate him a lot but after watching him at Sunderland then he's not the hardest working defensively and he does take a lot of risks in possession. I really rate him but the only wide player who doesn't put in a significant defensive shift that I can think of Dyche having previously is Cornet and he ended up putting him in a front 2 anyway.
Speaking of which, Cornet on loan is probably not unlikely.

I always liked Gudmunsson and thought he could play in a better team. Been thinking it for a number of years now though so possibly not.
Dier caught my eye, but why’s he not wanted? Too old? Too much competition? Too injured?
Dier's apparently signing permanently for Bayern anyway
