Re: The Friedkin Group
Just been sold the dream of investing some money, get some media exposure, talk the club up at times, get a high yield return down the line when the club is making more cash
Re: The Friedkin Group
Nah, that was the GM and the owner. No way JK was in favor of that. That said we want no fucking part of that Dallas Mavericks ownership group involved, particularly Miriam Adelson.

Re: The Friedkin Group
Rich Americans being persuaded to invest in the club as we’re at a low point with potential to improve a lot and then they’ll make a tidy profit down the line if/when we’re successful and get sold off for much more than we’re worth now
Re: The Friedkin Group
That’s exactly what the Premier League is today, in fact that’s any business that is taken over by private equity.Cereal Killer wrote: ↑Fri Apr 25, 2025 6:28 am Rich Americans being persuaded to invest in the club as we’re at a low point with potential to improve a lot and then they’ll make a tidy profit down the line if/when we’re successful and get sold off for much more than we’re worth now

All feels about sponsorship and investment opportunities, neither of which I particularly know much about, but I was reading yesterday the first fella we announced has lots of handy American contacts that can open doors for us in the Land of The Orange
