Not that I'm saying bring him back. Just fed up of people saying he was shit, or he shot on us.
Never he was lied to by ol Billy.blue balls .
His first 5 year plan was doing g well. Then Bill said " brilliant. But I can't keep my side of the deal. Carry on though".
He was far from perfect. But a lot better than so.e give him credit for.
Anyway. Dyche can go or stay. He is at best average but who would take this club on that could.make a different in such conditions?

And shit players like jagielka, arteta, cahilll, peinaar,, lescott,
Yeah we done need that kind of manager do we?
Howard Kendall had us winning league titles and cups first time round. However, he couldn't replicate that success second or third time around. Going back to something that worked years ago simply doesn't work.

I'm not saying Moyes.was shite. I'm saying he's moved on and so have we, and it should stay that way.

My point is many still vilify him. He wasfarfromthe worst manager we have had.

Moyes is a good football manager. He has proven that over 20+ years of management in the Premier League. You don't manage for that long at the top level without knowing what you are doing.

West Ham decided to forgo results for potentially better looking football by parting ways with Moyes, and I think they will struggle to replicate the kind of league positions under another manager. But fair play if that's what they are looking for. I prefer results.

Corriere dello Sport claim Friedkin wants to put Sarri in as coach...

We've got months of this gossip to get through without them even owning us yet.

I'd absolutely love it, but I doubt it will happen

We need a rebuild. I doubt the 18 months Sarri tends to last at clubs will be enough.

Unless we are in the relegation zone with 5 games to go or something hideous, managerial changes should be at the end of the season, as part of long term, financially backed, plan with complete control given to a competent DoF.

Owners wanting their play thing with statement managers and players is what got us into this shit show !!

Im not really sure managers last more than a few seasons now regardless, so im not overly worried who we get in, but what I do think we need to address is the style we're committing too, then recruit to that.
Our issues haven't been changing managers, as most have been warranted, the issue we have is going from one manager that likes to pass through the lines, to another that misses all the lines, and its happened far too often . What this has resulted in for years is a mish mash of a squad that the manager struggles to get the best out.
There is no point getting someone like Potter in then expecting Doucoure to pass and control the ball in the middle, thats why Lampard wanted him out, but why he kinds works for Dyche. We need to adopt a style and stick to it and recruit a manager that suits the squad we have.

We also have to remember that we have something like 13 senior players on our books after June next year, so we need stability and as little upheaval as possible. We can't go changing managers multiple times over the next 18-24 months and expect to have any on pitch cohesion.

We need to identify who we'll bring in well in advance and aim to make that change once the final ball is kicked at the end of this season... Or, and this won't be a popular suggestion, accept that changing manager AND half the team in the summer isn't feasible and commit to Dyche for another 2-3 years.

If we change manager we need to ensure they have enough time and money to bring in 5 or so players before the season starts and start building the tactics and style of play well before the first game of the season.

*5 or so is a low number really... We need probably around 8 or renew some of Gana, Doucoure and Keane etc to have around 20 first team players.

Not a prayer Dyche manages the first game of next season for us, imo.

Will do really well to last this season.

Friedkins will have their own ideas, and will be looking for any excuse to put them into practice.

Would just stick with dyche for now but make plans to replace him in time for the summer.

Ideally you want a new manager in for a few months before then but I wouldn’t want to change anything if we’re doing ok with dyche.

Dyche was brought in to fire fight. He’s done that brilliantly imo but he’s not the man to lead the new era of Everton.

Don’t know who that guy is but it ain’t dyche.

Bang on, and even more difficult for Dyche when pretty much knowing, himself, he'll not be here next season

Thankless task
