Who’s RoI’s back up RB? I know they played JOB there after Seamus came off but who is the actual deputy RB?

He didn't really, doherty dropped back and they changed shape a bit.

I would rather he chose to look out for Everton’s interests but there’s no ‘should’ about it. It’s his decision.

You grow up dreaming of playing football for certain teams but also your country. As you get older, your opportunities to represent your country will reduce. Why shouldn’t he take every opportunity he can?

Injuries sometimes happen but most of the time they don’t. If you’re fit to play, come back from an injury or not, you can’t sit on the bench ‘just in case’ something happens. You can’t live like that.

Coleman has given us everything he can. He’s not lifted any meaningful silverware with us. I’ve no problem with him choosing to play for his country for as long as they want him.

With Coleman likely out, Patterson not fit and Young being useless I wonder if Garner will be played at right back.
Not likely that Dyche will play Dixon but you never know.

Garner has excellent ratings last time out that he played RB for England U21s and I’m sure Carsley knew what he was doing when he put him there.

“Throughout the U21 Euros, Garner was deployed as a right-back in all six of England’s games, with five as a starter and one off the bench as the team didn’t concede a single goal in the tournament.”

They brought Jake on for Seamus and moved Nathan Collins to right back for the rest of the game.

Didn't play a standard RB role though, played as an inverted RB / DM, in a team that dominated possession.

It's a fat cry from playing in a Dyche system which is very rigid and he'd be expected to play as an orthodox RB.

I'd still give it a go tbf, anything is better than Young, and we have the depth in CM now that we don't necessarily lose anything by playing someone else in there.

I remember having a few fat cries when I was 19 and had put on a ton of weight

It looked like doherty dropped back in, but maybe he played deeper at times? It almost looked like a 5. I was half watching though, the only bit I was sure on was that he didn't straight swap to right back for coleman.

I know they're trying to drag his corpse to Bramley Moore but someone needs to have a word with him.
