Jesper Lindstrom
Re: Jesper Lindstrom
The WWE jump at anything to get a bit of coverage anywhere they can.
Make them aware of it and get a little shawn Michaels crossover.

Re: Jesper Lindstrom
Given the injuries and the fact we should have more of the ball against Leicester I'd love to see him either playing as an 8 or if we drop Doucoure back then slot Lindstrom in to the 10. Pop Patterson at RWB and that could be an effective system against lesser opposition.
Re: Jesper Lindstrom
Seemed absolutely devastated coming off today.
I was worried about this fella back in September. Seemed to shit out of tackles and not be up for it.
Still a little bit of a reservation around his willingness to get stuck in. But I like this lad around the team now. Good in the system and allows others to perform whilst putting a shift in

Re: Jesper Lindstrom
Having just missed his potential first, very gettable goal, I think helped heap on the frustration. He's been good though, seems to be improving and wont be far away soon enough.superpull wrote: ↑Sun Feb 02, 2025 4:33 am Seemed absolutely devastated coming off today.

Feel a bit for the lad. Hes had a fair few good chance and the ball just wont go in for him.
Like him a lot, wouldn't be adverse to seeing him in the Royal Blue again next season.

Re: Jesper Lindstrom
I'd keep him 100%. Can play multiple positions and seems a very Moyes type player. Plus he's technically good which we have very few who are.

Re: Jesper Lindstrom
One of those tricky prices like the option we had with Mangala.
Not so expensive that you wouldn’t do it but also not cheap enough to be a no brainer.

it’s a fair price but depends on wages and what else is out there

Re: Jesper Lindstrom
I really like him. As a player and a personality too I think.
You could see little glimpses of quality early on, but his confidence looked shot to pieces and he didn't seem to have the physicallity to adapt to the PL. But now he's settling and we're seeing a great technical player with a good football brain. He looks like he's up to the pace of the game, and I reckon if he bags one soon then that confidence will help him become even more effective all round.
On a side note, I don't think I've ever seen a player look so devastated to miss a chance as he did on Saturday.
