Brathwaite cost £1.5m, so did Dom, Onana could have been bought at a fraction of the price if we got in earlier.

Agree with the premise, we really are near rock bottom in terms of quality after selling our best for years. We can't make em quick enough to sell.

As long as there's not an accelerated deduction for continued breaches, or suspended sentences tied up somewhere in their creative punishment schemes.


Clubs also have players (like Branthwaite presumably?) that want to leave, there's no requirement to let them go at the first sign of this especially if they've recently signed a lengthy contract.
