I'm guessing when they had all the barriers up and stewards there they were expecting big queues. You'd have thought it would be better to launch it on a weekend.

It's essentially just a soft launch of the shop though, not the stadium... hence why there's been little fuss. The barriers and security is just to make sure people don't go wondering around what's not open yet, and still a building site.
