One of the best shows ever made, Todd. What are you doing. @Bob Sacamano Have a word
Really? Looked to me like one of those generic formulaic American shows where every single episode would be - Oh no, something happened, vampires are going to do bad stuff - quick, fight the vampires - yeah that was cool!
Week after week after weak after weak.
But I never saw it so it was all based on conjecture. Plus I loved Alicia Silverstone in the film and they cast someone with a really annoying face in the series so I didn’t want to watch it for that reason too.

Alicia. Silverstone. Wasn't. In. The. Film.
O.
K.
It was probably 30 years ago. Point still stands. I liked the lead in the film. I didn’t like the lead in the series and American shows don’t have a great track record for keeping me interested because they get really samey, really quick unless the writing is good.

Involved in one of best episodes of telly. Heartbreaking stuff and possibly the first time television properly shocked me to my core.

Is this the ep where she died?
Spoilers: I'm assuming todd is binging them all now (he should be!)
But yeah. I can remember watching it like it was yesterday. I was 18 and watching them as they came out (before the days of binge watching).
I was also cool/hard enough to be able to watch what I wanted and not catch strays from my mates

The writing is genuinely excellent. Character development over the course of the show is up there with the best of them too.
