If we can get a good fee for Onana and replace with ndidi for free then there’s not much drop in quality imo and he has lots more experience. Injuries and poor form are definitely potential downsides but there’s a very good player in there and Onana’s got his calf problem after all
On a free he’ll either want high wages and long contract or a big sign on bonus, he’s not going to be the bargain it first looks like.

Even something like 75k a week is gonna be 16m over a four year deal and that’s without a sign on bonus.

75k a week is more than fine. That's a standard premier league wage. I think he's probably on a decent amount more than that already. Wouldn't be surprised if he was looking for 150k a week and 10m signing on fee. Free transfers with any pull tend to just take all the transfer fee in wages

Well we’ve made him an offer already and I doubt it’s 150k pw so he can accept or not. I’d be very happy if he signed for 75k pw because we’re not getting a better player for 16m and that’s before wages

Both left wingers according to transfermarkt, so I doubt there’s much in that.

Can't say I was particularly impressed with Bruun Larsen at Burnley last season.

That Beste has had a cracking season by all accounts.

Sure I read somewhere though he would prefer to stay in Germany.

Both 25 year old wingers in the last year of their contracts with poor careers overall, hence why they’re so cheap. They’ll be on low wages and they could provide more balance to the side and some potential upside.

Beste had 8 goals and 11 assists for 8th place heideheim in his only top flight season and 12g 12a in bundesliga 2 the previous season.

Bruun Larsen scored 6 goals no assists for 19th place Burnley, making him their top scorer and our 3rd top scorer if he played for us. He has a lot more top flight seasons but it’s pretty poor overall in terms of appearances, goals and assists.

Based solely off YouTube videos I’d say Beste looks to have better touch and close control but is quite lightweight and bruun Larsen just looks a bit poor and I can’t say he stood out at Burnley either so haven’t watched him closely.

Mcneils not a proper winger in my mind so they could allow us to get in behind teams more but it’s hard to say what they’d add as Beste could turn to shit or Larsen could do better seeing as we’re a better team than Burnley (currently). Low fee, low wage, low risk on either so it’s fine but I’d rather go for Beste based on his record the last two seasons as he could be hitting his peak.

He's an absolute joke is Spurs circles. Never a Dyche player either.

Was reading a Lyon forum about Jake O'Brien and although they questioned his positional sense, they all seemed to rate him quite highly in terms of having all the attributes needed to be a future £80m top CB. Considering you don't need to worry about positioning that much as a CB in a Dyche team then I hope he's JB's replacement.
